Here is this mornings odd capture in the larsen trap.



I am pleased to say it went off more or less unscathed. Just a bit of a scrape around the beak.

Off he goes.



Across the pond (Nice rise too) and away to find a roost out of sight of mobbing birds.



This is one of the benefits of live capture traps and regular checks. Non target species can be released unharmed.

I found a Fox in my trap this morning. Not yet 12 months old by the look of it.
I would have put a pic in here but can't work out how.
